KCircle is structurally independent of other organizations.

We feel that K's words or teachings are to be taken as the  pointers and hints to deeper truths and not to be taken literally or as some finality, but a beginning of a journey to new discoveries.

Esoteric interpretations and comparative discussions are encouraged and not shunned.

K Study Circle's activities earlier began in the IIT Campus at Powai Mumbai since 1979. A few friends  came together and were fortunate to listen to J. Krishnamurti and later meet and discuss with him in person.

This group called as Krishnamurti Study Circle and later, briefly as K Circle. Some of the participants have also contributed in K's work in one or other way.

Prof. Dr Hira Lal, the Dean of the Students'Affairs at IIT and the head of the Dept. of Chemistry had been instrumental in bringing about this activity. The detail story is available in an article named 'Professor Hira Lal -A Life of Clarity and Action'
