Story:

The story starts off with a 10 year old girl named Sakura Kinomoto who one day gets attracted to the basement because of some strange 'activity' going on there. When she gets there, Sakura finds a glowing book entitled 'The Clow'. She curiously takes the book out and once she opens it, Sakura sees a pile of cards in the book. She picks up the first one in the pile and it turns out to be 'The Windy'. As Sakura reads the name oud loud, a strong wind starts blowing and eventually all of the cards fly out of the book. Afterwards, a little creature that bears a strange resemblance to a stuffed bear appears out of the book, scaring Sakura half to death. He asks for the cards and when Sakura explains what happens, Kero (Cerberus the guardian beast of the seal) appoints her cardcaptor of the Clow Cards. And Sakura Kinomoto's adventurous journey as a cardcaptor (and later the clow/sakura card mistress) begins...
