Product Manager, Network Security Systems

Client is seeking a product manager. In this role, you will indirectly lead approximately 100 engineers, guiding the product development process for a new class of computer networking system. You will interact with customers around the globe to lead the market and translate market requirements into product features. You will work directly with the VP of marketing and CEO, based in California, and a team of outstanding engineers daily. Your responsibilities will include: developing Product Requirements Documentation, managing product release cycles, representing the company as a technical expert with customers, and translating market knowledge into strategic initiatives.

Ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in computer networking security (as a developer of switching, firewall, anti-virus, Intrusion prevention, VPN systems).  This candidate will be a leader who is able to conceive and articulate end-user benefits for technical concepts.  Experience in established enterprise network systems companies is desired

Should have Bachelor/ Master�s degree in Computer Science/ Electrical/ Electronics engineering.

Job Description
Candidate will be required to design and develop test software to verify conformance of feature functionality implemented by Engineering against requirements specifications laid out by Product Marketing.
Towards this the candidate will Design a test plan after studying product requirements document.
Design and specify a test infrastructure to execute the test plan
Develop software to execute the tests specified in the test plan in an automated manner using automation tools
