2. Print the article you will summarize.
3. Read the article.
a. Read about PLAGIARISM
b. Read the following article: How to Write an ARTICLE SUMMARY
4. Write a summary.
a. The summary must be one-page long (hand-written, single-space,
college-rule paper) or 150 typed words.
b. You must explain your reaction to the article-how it affects you emotionally.
c. You must tell why you choose this article-what interested you in it.
5. Bring the summary to class on Thursday, Aug. 19, 2004.
6. You will get into groups in class to critique and proof read the articles.
7. You will make any necessary corrections to your summary.
8. You will present your article to the class.
