Introduction

Have you ever been asked to summarize a paragraph, short story, or article?
For the rest of your existence here at Obuch Middle School and at high school,
you will be summarizing all of these.
Your journey will begin with summarizing newspaper articles.
You are on a quest-a WebQuest-to discover how to write a summary of a newspaper article.
By summarizing news articles, you will learn how to summarize better while learning
about current events going on around you and in the world.
After you write your summary, you will work in groups critiquing each other�s summaries
before you present them to the class.
