of Kay Kare
Here at Kay Kare, we strive to perfect a happy, healthy, intelligent child. To accomplish this we encourage a nutritional diet, positive self-image, and a Multi-Intelligent Theory curriculum. These are the key ingredients of raising a well-rounded child. Studies show that good eating habits start from birth and carry on through life. We believe it is the responsibility of the child care provider to expose children to a variety of nutritional foods. This can be achieved with daily home cooked meals. A variety of food choices in a menu diversifies the child’s taste, which can only enhance his/her dietary health. The lifestyles of today often inhibit families to cook a well balanced meal; this is why we feel it is imperative to provide children with a healthy, home cooked lunch. Kay Kare understands that facilitating a positive self-image motivates children to obtain their goals. We support this concept by providing a small, friendly home-based environment. Attention to each child’s needs is met through a small teacher to child ratio. Kay Kare encourages intrinsic incentive programs to reward each child’s accomplishments thus providing a healthier self-esteem. Finally, we know that it is essential to meet the needs of all learners. Kay Kare staff utilizes a curriculum that incorporates each child’s learning style. During a typical day our children would be using their imaginative minds in creating art projects, singing songs, using computer programs, actively listening to stories, piecing together puzzles, dramatizing characters and even help cook their own snacks. Outdoor play is another key element in our facility. During this time we expose our children to many environmental science lessons, as well as large motor activities. We love to make learning fun! Ultimately children
who graduate form Kay Kare will be successful achievers in tomorrow’s
world. We strive for excellence! |
