My Fun-loving Family

My family consists of a grandpa, grandma, father, mother, 5 brothers, 4 sisters-in-law, 7 nieces, 6 nephews, a cat and a dog; plus more aunts, uncles, and cousins than I can count! Here's the line up:
DAD: age 62; he has been a realtor since 1980, is a WONDERFUL father and husband, loves to hunt, fish, and spend time with the Mighty Nimrod Sporting Club.
This is what typical Nimrods look like after a few (ahem, ahem!) beers...
MOM: age 60; she is a nurse's aide in Buffalo MN, is a WONDERFUL mother and wife; loves to read, write, and shop at garage sales. And makes realy good Egg Fu Young!
JOHNNY: age 39; married to LINDA; kids: SARAH, MATTHEW, & LISA. Johnny is the 'Oldest Living Boyscout' and my God-father, very smart, and a really good cook. Linda also is very smart, and is a wonderful wife and mother, and she homeschools the kids. Sarah is one of my favorite nieces; she's intelligent, funny, and talented. Matthew is the melodramatic one, but I love him anyway! Lisa is the cute one (cuz she's the youngest, and the youngest is always the cute one), and she loves to dance.
BRAD: age 38; was married to Marlys; kids: ALICIA, DEREK, ADAM, DANIEL, & DAVID. Brad has a very political but sound mind, but he has these obsessions with Q-tips and "It's a Wonderful Life." Alicia is a boy-crazy teenager, but she's also a good friend AND a niece; how much closer can you get? (attention, guys between the ages of 18 and 21: Alicia is single!!!) Derek is a smart-aleck, but I gotta love him. Adam is growing into a stud-muffin: watch out, girls! Daniel is probably going to be either a scientist or a trash-dump manager. David is a cutie, but don't put anything past him! :)
STEVE: age 36; married to KIM; kids: CHRISTOPHER & ERIN. Steve is a practical joker, 'nuf said. Kim puts up with him! :-) Chris is a talented, funny kid. Erin is a piece of steel with bright, red hair!
KEN: age 35; married to KIM; foster kids: HEATHER, JANIE, & AMBER. Ken is a Baptist minister, and a great foster father. Kim is artsy-crafty, and really cool. I haven't gotten to know Heather or Amber yet, but I hope to soon! Janie is VERY shy, but she's also a very cool person.
PAUL: age 29; funniest person alive, and works at Rimage in the Cities. Enjoys moonlight walks by the beach, candle-light dinners for two, and reading romantic poetry. Hey ladies: He's single!!!
KATIE (me): age 19, going to college at Marquette University, has no money because she is a college student. Hey, if you want to know more about ME, there's a dozen more pages to look at!
This is probably how my cat, Oreo, sees himself; as a high priest, ruling over the family...
And then there's Reuben, our dog. He's part Golden Retriever, Collie, and Black Lab. He is hands-down the smartest dog I have ever seen!
