These are a few of my favorite things...
The TRINITY. I know we're not supposed to have favorites, but the Holy Spirit is what I take delight in the most. The Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost!!!
The movie The Princess Bride
PURPLE. Anything that is even remotley the shade, hue, or pigment of purple.
Fencing, Renaissance era, Medieval era, etc. (this also includes the SCA)
Church...especially St. Timothy's Parish in Maple Lake, MN!
UGLI fruit. It looks like an oblong-shaped, unripe grapefruit, but it tastes like an orange, tangerine, and grapefruit all rolled into one. It looks really cute, I can't imagine why it's called UGLI.
My Cat OREO. Here he is:
The word "CAPRICIOUS". I don't know why, because if you are capricous, that means that you are easily swayed. But it also means that you let whimsy carry you where it may.
Celts. Any Celtic art, items, jewelry, music, ANYHTING (it's just like purple)
LITERATURE. Not just books. When you say books, that's like saying you like paintings when you really love ART.
Raspberry Gingerale. Can't get enough of it. If you love me, give me raspberry gingerale, 24 hours a day.
My favorite animal is the SLOTH. But it has to be the 3-toed sloth. Why? Frankly, I have no idea. They have small rodents and insects living in its fur and they don't travel more than 1 mile per month (they are recorded as the "slowest animal on Earth", no lie).
Crab legs. I will know I am in Heaven when I can have Alaskan King crab legs anytime I want for a cheap fare. They are best at Red Lobster, with melted butter.
Eeyore: that loveable, miserable, satirical donkey who always loses his tale. If I had to pick my favorite cartoon character, Eeyore would be it. Who could resist a purple donkey that speaks in a monotone and is perpetually depressed?
Well, now that you know my favorite things, I will be expecting you to lay gifts of adoration to me at my door step. I will eventually add things as my taste is procured and my horizons broadened.
