About the Department The Department consists of a 28-bed facility and an Outpatient Department with six units to accomodate the needs of ambulatory patients. The Department is fully equipped to cover the entire spectrum of the specialty and to apply the newly developed techniques. The Outpatient Department operates four days weekly. About 40 patients are examined and 20 minor procedures under local anaesthesia are performed daily. Major operations are performed twice a week, with an average of six operations per week.
