The Neopian Conspiracy Theories
- Part Two
Ok, I seem to still be around, but I got this prickly feeling at the back
of my neck, like someone is watching me!
Last week I began with the basics, pointing out that each area in Neopia
has its own rulers or leaders, except for Neopia Central.
Now I'm going to detail some of the strange events that have been happening
recently, which I feel reinforce my theory of a Neopian Shadow Government
or Neolluminati.
Let's begin with a recent event, the sudden epidemic of illness surrounding
the Money Tree (22nd August)
Where did the disease come from? Unknown.
Why was the epidemic isolated to the Money Tree? Well, the money
tree is the place in Neopia where people can donate their items to those
less fortunate. By discouraging people from going there, it gives the
Shadow Government a chance to take stock of what is happening at the tree,
and take some of the goodies themselves! Did you notice that although
the amount of people visiting the Money Tree dropped dramatically, the
ghosts were still out in force stealing Neopoints from people! To line
the pockets of the Neolluminati? I suspect so.
Going back a little further we have the completely unsuspected or predicted
Destruction of Maraqua! (18th August)
What destroyed Maraqua? A Giant Whirlpool.
Where did it come from? Unknown.
Why was Maraqua destroyed? I have a couple of theories about this.
Only a matter of days before the whirlpool struck, Maraqua was visited
by a mystery Pirate, with demands for gold. The King of Maraqua refused
to pay, with excuses like a bad Kelp harvest, lack of tourism, and "the
Coral Tax". This tax was obviously something the King had to pay
to someone else, but whom?
Did the Pirates take revenge for the defiance of the King? I think not.
They didn't try to force the King of Maraqua to hand over the money, unusual
for bloodthirsty Pirates, and the parting words of the Pirate Captain
were "I'll see you in Hell". Did he know something was about
to happen? Or was he too busy with something else? I think he was.
Deep in Maraqua lived Chiazilla, the victor of the battle with Mechachiazilla,
a large creature of immense proportions, conveniently big enough to cause
a giant whirlpool should he try to surface. But why would he want to leave
Maraqua? Maybe he was summoned by the Shadow Government to show their
enemies how much power they still have. Their enemies? I don't know yet.
Or maybe he was summoned purely to create the Whirlpool and destroy Maraqua.
Is the Shadow Government working with the Pirates? Or was Maraqua simply
no longer useful.
Along with the arrival of the Pirates, came Dubloons. Dubloons are a
strange form of currency that the Pirates seem to use. Why not standard
Neopoints? I'll tell you why. Dubloons are actually minted by the Shadow
Government. If you take a close look at the lower value dubloons, you
can see they are in fact made out of wood. A very cheap substance indeed
and these dubloons will sell for a few thousand Neopoints, which go straight
in the coffers of the Neolluminati. But why are the Pirates using them?
The Pirates are in league with the Shadow Government. Everyone knows that
Pirates are a cruel and bloodthirsty lot, but we have had no reports of
them causing any trouble. Remember how quickly they gave up with the Maraqua
demands, they had better things on their minds. Also suddenly there is
an island provided for them, and if they are not pillaging and looting,
where are they getting money for extravagancies like the Food Club? They
are subsidised by the Shadow Government in return for using the dubloons,
which in turn are boosting the funds of the Neolluminati!
Well, that all I can say now, there's a suspicious shadow at the door!
I'll be back next week with more theories, keep your fingers crossed for
me!
As always, if you know of any untoward goings on, or something smells
fishy, NeoMail me!

| i read your artical and remembered
2 things forgotten in neopia. THE STUFF & LILAC ISLAND! |
The "Stuff" is based on a really cheesy horror film called
"The Stuff" - people eat it, and go a bit funny in the head,
then the Stuff tries to get back out of their bodies! Very Messy and
Very Funny! :)

| Nice article and I think you
may want to think of thr recent events surounding virtulift
4 such as: Did anyone realy solve the quest if not who let the
kids out? Why did Dr. Sloth help the people of neopia and "spill
his cup of grakle juice" when the kids were saved? Was
this all planned out by someone bigger than we think maybe bigger
than Dr. Sloth!!! And finally how much wood could a wood chuck
chuck if a wood chuck could chuck wood. I sugest you think about
these thing very carefuly and may the ginger be with you. |

Conspiracy |
Why did Neopets V2 just suddenly
turn on? The SG must be behind it. I read your article and it
all clicked. The SG knew that killing four young kids would
put Neopia into a state of depression and would not care about
how much money they were spending. The SG would be free to raise
the prices and until the sadness ended they would be rolling
in loot everyday.
Thats my theory, but you might have your own.

Obelisks Conspiracy Theory |
| I saw your neopian times article.
I thought that my theory about the obelisks should be told.
Here it is:
My theory is that the obelisks were made to protect Faerieland.
If there was an obelisk at Mystery Island, I should be able
to guess why Maraqua disapeared. If you draw a line from Mystery
Island to Tyrannia, what do you find on that line? You find
a giant whirlpool that seems to have appeared at the time
that the Tyrannian obelisk had suddenly disapeared. There
is great evil outside of the triangle that is made whenever
you draw lines to connect Mystery Island, Tyrannia, and Lost
Desert. Krawk Island is populated by pirates. The Haunted
Woods are haunted. There was a murder mystery at Terror Mountain.
I don't have to say much about the evil that is at the space
station. As far as I know, there is only one place that is
free of evil, and it is Faerieland which happens to be in
the middle of the obelisk triangle. Don't you see the connection
between the obelisks and the safety of Faerieland? I am sure
that the Techo at Mystery Island knows that the obelisks are
supposed to protect Neopia, and that he is trying to use codestones
to restore the lost obelisk of Mystery Island. If all of the
obelisks are recovered, something good might happen.
That is my theory.
11/12/2001 09:55am
The techo master seems to be to enlightened to have much
evil inside of him. One thing that I am sure that he believes
in is balance. The balance of good and evil seems to have
shifted when the Tyrannian obelisk had suddenly disapeared.
There does seem to be a connection between the codestones
and the obelisks, and perhaps the techo master has noticed
it and believes that codestones are what the obelisks are
made from. The techo master is probably trying to reassemble
the Mystery Island obelisk with the codestones. He is probably
trying to restore the balance between good and evil in all
of Neopia, but is doing it in secret so that the evil beings
of Neopia won't interfere. Don't you agree?

CONSPIRACY ALERT!!! |
|
ok, there was an epidemic of new tyranian diseases a while
back. if tyrania is a world introduced way back when, why
diddnt the diseases come earlier?
BECAUSE THEY ARE AGENTS OF DESTRUCTION!!! thats right, they
were created to make new demand resulting in a high price.
where does this cash go? the SG of course!
and what about NPV2? it was working for the SG of course!
people would charge for scam tips to beat it. the monitors
freeze accounts, the assets go to the SG! please give me
credit for my findings in your next article!
*explodes leaving candy for everyone*

and the ghosts work there too, and tombola and shrine!
people get stuff and our friendly neighbourhood pant devil
steals it!
and banning contests! noobs get frozen for them the SG empties
out the accounts!
and the quests too! where do you suppose those items go?
SG! i must now depart! Farewell!

Hi there. I read your article in the neopian times and
thought it was good.
You were open for suggestions, so what about the "Time
Machine"(tyrannia)
It disappeared recently and no one's said anything about
it.

Shadow Government |
|
What are their soilders? Look At the trading card Majin
badcheeks. Majin is japenese And ancient neopian for demon.
I say the shadow government is controlled by, or controlls
by an army of demons.
Or codestones. Why does the techo master ask for them? Maybe
they are used for a dark purpose, or maybe the shadow government
is using him to control the neopian economy.

conspiracies afoot |
|
Read your Neopian Times Article, and decided to send you
something I've been pondering: the obelisks. They are/were
in Tyrannia and The Lost Desert. The third one, according
to my calculations, should be on Krawk Island. So how come
when the place where the final one should be appears, the
Tyrannia obelisk disappears? Something's wrong with that.
(respectfully yours, knutsonman)
