Destruct-o-Match
Destruct-o-Match is a Puzzle game, with a rating of Easy. It is basically "The Same Game". The idea is to remove matching blocks of colours and get down to the lowest possible number of blocks left. Each time you remove blocks, the ones above the removed blocks will drop down to take their place. If you manage to completely clear a column, the rest will move together to eliminate the gap. The less blocks you have left at the end, the more bonus points you will get. If you manage to clear a whole level, you get a bonus 500 points! Remember though, you must meet a certain score to be able to progress to the next level. Each new level comes with a new coloured block, thus diluting the frequency of matching blocks, and making it harder! You get more points for destroying larger groups of blocks, so always try to match as many as you can before you blow them up!
Tips - Remain Block Bonus - Level One - Level Two - Level Three - Level Four
I find it is best to work from top to bottom Horizontally across the screen, in other words, remove the blocks that match side-by-side, not the ones that match top and bottom, the reason for this is, when you remove blocks, and higher ones drop down, it will change the blocks that they are side-by-side next to, but the blocks top and bottom will remain the same. Also try to work evenly across all the rows, you don't want to end up with one side of the screen much higher then the other! Also, pick one colour and "save it til last", keep removing blocks of all the other colours, that way, you get to blow up a load of blocks in one go, and get more points! This works best on the first level, and can be good on the second level too, but beyond that there are too many colours and the blocks are too spaced out!. Another good tip I have found, it always clear the first level, the 500 point bonus means you wilkl have no problem getting a high enough score to go through to the final level. I only ever click on "next level" if I have completely cleared the first level, if not, I try again!
The Levels
Level One - 4 Colours - Points needed for next level = 125
Level Two - 5 Colours - Points needed for next level = 375
Level Three - 6 Colours - Points Needed for next level - 700
Level Four - 7 Colours - Final Level
