This is a letter written 3 Aug 1926 by Elizabeth to Lula Swan, her daughter-in-law
This is a photo of the German Methodist Church near the Bashor property in Grandview Township OH.  There are several books which belonged to Elizabeth still in the family including a New Testament in German.  I think that German was her first language. The oldest of her children went to German school, later English schools were opened so the younger children were taught in English.  Her husband only knew English so that was used in the home.
This is all the information I have yet found on the Bashor Family, if you can help add more or are related,  please contact me.
