Resources
Here are some of the books and other non-online resources used in our research that are in my possession.  They are not listed in any sort of order, except that that's how I entered them here :).
General Family History
1.
The New World Book of Blinns, published by Halbert's Family Heritage, 1998.  Despite the title, this book, in my opinion, is not a great resource except for those who are just starting out tracing family history and there only to learn about genealogy in general.  There is only limited and very incomplete information on Blinns here.  It does contain a seven page registry of Blinn marriages and current (at least at the time of publication) addresses of various people with the surname, however this is very far from anything reliable as sources are listed as "public records".  No sort of tree nor family groups are here and Peter Blinn is not even mentioned anywhere.  Most anything in this book can be found more complete in the LDS online library if you want something that general, or on other internet sites with a small bit of searching.  Do not try to buy this book as it is, in my opinion, a waste of money.  If you want me to do a look up in the marriage files, just ask.
