I am glad to make the presentation of our group.I want to thank you for the hospitality and for the chance to discover the natural beauties of your country. In these three days we saw a lot of wonders;realised that we must save the beauty. Without it the life will be boring.

First day we made a boat trip.We floated on the Danube waters. It was a good chance to learn the biodiversity in the area. For example the red-breasted geese spend here the winter. The water lilies which we saw are protected by the law.after seeing these natural treasure we achieve the idea that it’s absolutely necessary to look after it.If we do we will save the life and give the world a better future.

Another important thing was the visit in two Romanian monasteries ( Cocos Monastery and Celic Dere Monastery ). We were impressed and amazed by the peace and tranquility which rule there. We felt the nuns’ life and hopes. We realised  they deeply and truly believe in God’s mirracles.

We had the chance to talk one another , to get closer with our Romanian friends.Thank you again for the good time. I hope we will work together again with the purpose to save the variety of life.

The Pelicans

We spent some wonderful days in the Danube Delta and Tulcea. We saw the Biosphere Reserve and walked with a boat in it. We visited Cocos Monastery. We saw there a lot of common things between Romanians and Bulgarians. We had the opportunately to meet with another culture and other people. We had the chance to se their style of life, to find new friends. We saw a lot of interesting places, animals and plants. Just wonderful days. I hope that this will become a tradition which will make us from neighbours on the map in really good friends.

Delta

We spend the last three days on The Summer Local School in Tulcea and its surroundings. We came here with the idea to learn more about the biodiversity of the Danube Delta area and also to see our friends.

During the first day we went to a trip with a boat.We traveled on the river and had the chance to see the nature and its beauty. We saw different species of plants and animals. Later we visited the Information Center of Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve. There the specialist told us the most important things about the reserve-about its history and functions. They show us pictures and maps of the area and explain about the most protected places in the reserve.

On the second day we visited Cocos Monastery and Celic Dere Monastery. There we got in touch with people’s faith and traditions. These magnificant buildings carried so much energy. And not only they. While we were walking in Cocos Monastery’s surroundings I felt just the same energy in the forest nearby.

And today we are in this school and working in groups to prepare the presentation that you are listening in the moment. We were working a lot and although we are very tired, we are happy that everything finished succesfully.

I thing that what we did here was really useful for everybody and for our relation to the nature as our treasure. On the First Summer Local School in Varna during the previous year I finished my  presentation with the words “I hope this first try will become a tradition”-now I know it will.

The Swans

I am very happy to be here to present our poster and our activities during this summer school. We had wonderful time together.

We learnt a lot of things about Danube Delta and its biodiversity, Romanian culture and hospitality. We spent wonderful time visiting the Cocos and Celik Dere monasteries, and the Delta centre.

Our poster is a result of our common work and everyone was eager to do his best on the finale.
