Simeon is 6'1" tall, with a muscular build. He has blonde hair that falls to the top of his shoulders and brown eyes. He wears the colors of the Scion, gold and green. He carries the Scion's sword. As Captain of the Rangers, he protects the Scion, the Castle and the Isle of Ember. Respect, honor, and loyalty to the Crown - the fibers of Simeon the man - grew from his early love for his father. In all endeavors, he strives to be the son the Scion can love.

Given to him by the Scion, Louie, when Simeon was named Captain of Ember's Rangers. A practical sword, the only decorations a large diamond embedded into the pommel and the engraving of Ember's crowned fire salamander on the hilt. He wears it in a functional scabbard, the ceremonial one hanging from a hook in his rooms.
