A Royal Artifact since Foomall, twelve generations ago, the stone is reputed to be a gateway to god-like powers. Only the chosen successors are told how to unlock this secret.

He/She is the only decision maker for all national policies: make treaties, sign contracts, set tariffs and rates of exchange, supreme judge of crime, giver of pardons, declarer of war and peace. The Scion resides in the Castle Ember, yet by some apparently magical means travels freely, popping up unannounced anywhere in the kingdom at any time.
PROS: To become Scion is the goal of this game. The winner rules the Domain of Ember, gains power, and receives extra points to further increase her/his character.
CONS: Your character may actually die trying.
