Animals and People

Love animals, particularly big, furry dogs, and I  am a sucker for bringing home strays till I find their rightful owners. I enjoy meeting people, particularly those with a positive outlook on life, who can enjoy and participate in lively exchanges of ideas and opinions without being offensive and overbearing.
Although my kids are now grown and on their own, I enjoy a wonderful relationship with all of them (hey, we are all on good speaking terms, and see each other as little or often
as we individually choose to tolerate, with no one taking any offense). 
My kids have grown into such neat adults, and all are really so super cool no wonder I love em' so much. Until they are young adults, you never really know for certain if you did a good job of parenting or not.  To my total surprise and delight, I must conclude that, my ex-husband and I must have been awesome parents, cause we turned out five awesome kids.
