Hand dyeing fabrics is becoming more and more popular. Unfortunately, it can be scary until you find out how easy it really is.
These pages are not a definitive text on hand dyeing. (In fact, this isn't even the method I use most often myself.) Instead, they are some simple recipes and suggestions for experimenting for beginning hand dyers so that you can have some quick success. I recommend doing the lessons in order, as the lessons will often build on each other.
There are two main things to remember: 1) even your mistakes will still look great, and 2) have fun!
