Here's an example of "Extreme Baggie Dyeing". The piece is 80" x 80" (two pieces of muslin were sewn together before dyeing) and was dyed in a one gallon zipper bag. I put about a cup of the first dye color (blue) in the bag, added the damp fabric, and then smooshed the fabric around as best I could. Then I added the red-violet dye on top by drizzling it on the fabric.

The binding is made from a 1 yard piece of vat-dyed muslin in the same blue (but darker).
