The Katipunan Arkeologist ng Pilipinas, Inc. (KAPI) is a non-stock, non-profit professional organization founded in June 1999 by members of the archaeological community in the Philippines. Since its first General Assembly, membership has grown to include professionals from other parts of the world with an interest in Philippine archaeology, as well as non-professionals who have made significant contributions to the field. These Regular, Associate and Honorary members meet once a year in a plenary session to plot the general direction of the organization. Its Board of Trustees, who are elected into office every two years, meet as often as necessary to create policies and supervise the affairs of the organization. Just recently, individuals from all fields of endeavor who strongly support the mission and vision of the organization have been invited to join as members. |
