SUMMARY: When Shinji's class is assigned to write a paper about one of their parents, the young boy is horrified at the prospect. He knows that he and his father hate each other, and thus how can he possibly write a flattering essay about the man who only called him because he "had a use for him?" Yet, as unexpected and deadly events unfold, the enigmatic Commander Ikari's thoughts become more clear. But, is it enough? What's the price of a life, anyway? Even if the life is your own son's?
