Our Work...Kim is a Registered Nurse at a Twin Cities metro area hospital. She loves to be able to help people and ease their pain. She works part time, so she will be able to spend a lot of time with the baby. Kevin is a Mechanical Engineer with a large mechanical contractor. He enjoys understanding how things work and applying his knowledge to making better mechanical systems. |

Our Home...We live in a rural community 35 miles north of the Twin Cities on seven acres. We have a 1920's two story, three bedroom farmhouse we are renovating. It is the kind of house that is often filled with friends, family and laughter. We think we have the best of both worlds; being able to live in the country, but still close to a big city. We can't wait to have our child look for frogs, play in the garden, sit in the porch swing, and ride a bike down the gravel driveway. We are nearby to area libraries, a paved bike trail and park that we enjoy. |

Fun...We love to spend time with friends and family. We are very close to Kevin's family and enjoy going camping with them. We went to the Wisconsin Dells this summer and spent the entire day at Noah's Ark Waterpark with our niece and nephews. We love to go to auctions together and look for "treasures." We also enjoy movies, cooking dinner with friends, and spending time outside with our dogs. Kim likes to craft. She is currently working on several scrapbooks. She wants to preserve family history and believes it is very important for a child to have their memories documented in a scrapbook. She loves to bake and cook. She is often making dog biscuits for Milo & Spirit. She also likes to bead, garden, can, and read. Kim has a passion for music of all kinds, but has a special fondness for country music. We attend concerts of such favorites as Martina McBride, Terri Clark, and Keith Urban. Kevin enjoys working on renovation projects around the house and is currently finishing our master bathroom. He also likes woodworking, and especially enjoys building unique birdhouses from salvaged lumber and trinkets he finds at the thrift store. Reading, puzzles, board and card games, and spending time working on our surrounding woods are all favorite pastimes. |
