How we met...We met in 1995 while at college through matchmaker friends. They got it wrong when they paired us with other people, but their meddling got us past the introductions allowing fate it's chance. It only took 6 weeks of dating before we were engaged! We were married on April 19,1997. |

Our Dream...Since we have been married, we have wanted children to be a part of our family. We dream of the day when that will come true. We have experienced infertility, but have not given up the hope of having a child. We want to be there to see the first smile, hear the first words and help our child discover their surroundings. |

Kim...is 31 years old and grew up in Milwaukee, WI. She has one brother three years younger than she is. Her brother's name is also Kevin, so family gatherings can get quite confusing. She had a happy childhood in the city. She has fond memories of camping with family and friends in their pop up camper, Brownies & Girl Scouts (Mom was the leader), celebrating holidays with cousins, swimming lessons, and her cocker spaniel, Cinnamon. Kim's Mom and brother live 45 minutes away, so we are able to see them often. Kim spends a lot of time with her Mom on the weekends. |

Kevin...is 32 years old and grew up on a 160 acre dairy farm in Chippewa Falls, WI. He has two older sisters; Lisa (38) and Barb (36) and a brother, Wayne (30). Having grown up, we've grown together. His siblings and mother are within minutes of the farm they grew up on. With only two hours between us, we get together often, both to work and play. Kevin's siblings all have children and we are lovingly referred to as Uncle Kevin and Aunt Kim. We often take care of our nephews when their parents spend a weekend away. Kevin and I love spending time with our nephewsand the boys always make a fuss when they have to go back home. |

Our Pets...Spirit is our 7 year old Weimaraner who still runs around like a puppy! Milo is our 5 year old lab/boxer mix who knows he is adorable and plays it up big time! All our pets love children. Spirit keeps our nephews busy when they are building snowmen. She helps out by removing the stick arms so the kids will throw them for her. Milo is never left out of the fun either. Ben is a mellow cat that likes to lay around and play with a ball of yarn. |
