| Chapter 17 |
| The room was filled with loud voices and people coming from every direction as the woman sitting on the couch watched in boredom. She was quite used to such a commotion and sitting here doing nothing just added towards her boredom, but two people caught her attention. Deciding to be nosey, she creep to the closest corner she could and watch intensely as the couple talked and made playful gestures at each other. "Justin, I swear if you do that again, I'm going to shave those precious curls of you'rs off when you're sleeping," Diamond threaten. "Ha! You could never do that because you love these curls. Remember you said that if I ever cut or shaved them off that you would personally kill me," he smiled. Feeling defeated, she let out a huff and stayed silent. On the other side of the room, Justin's name was called by Joey who said he was needed in the make-up room. Giving Diamond a quick peck on the lips, he made his get away. A look of shocked was on the woman's face, but soon a devious smirk took over. Walking over towards Diamond, she dramatically walked over with a cheesy smile. "Kara what do you want? Why are you even here?," Diamond asked annoyed. "Diamond, oops, I mean Michelle. I just want to chit chat and that's none of your business why I'm here, but since I'm so willing to say, I will. Johnny just wanted me to see what it would be like since I've never actually done a tour, just movie sets," she smirked, "But this is not the reason why I came over here. I saw the kiss, you dirty girl. Was this your way of getting dirt on him for Jamie cause if it is then your very late. You were supposed to get the job done long ago-" "Why are you talking about this out in the open? Do you want to get caught? Jamie is stupid for putting you on a job like this. You are not qualified, all you are is a whore to him. I hope you don't believe that he is faithful to you cause he met you while he was with me. What makes you think he won't do the same to you?" Diamond's words cause a spark in Kara. What happened next shocked her and some others around them. Kara slapped Diamond across the face and walked out of the studio. Holding the left side of her face that stung badly, she was very shocked and angry that she had the guts to do such a thing. Looking up, everyone immediately went back to their work, not wanting her to know that they were watching her, but she wasn't stupid. Whispers were going around the room, so she took the belongings of the boys she was holding and went out to the lobby and thanked god that Kara wasn't there because there would been an all out cat fight. Sitting down on one of the three benches, she tried to calm her anger down, but a cell phone went off causing her to break her meditation. If it wasn't a shocking day enough, she got another on the other line of Chris' cell phone. "Giovanna? How do you have Chris's cell number?," she curiously asked. Silence was met on the other line for a while, but she soon replied." Well, he...we...friends?-" She stuttered so much, she couldn't complete a full sentence. For so odd reason, something clicked to Diamond. Chris had been talking about a woman he's been talking to and how she could possibly be a match for him. Whenever Giovanna lies or tries to hide the truth, she constantly stutters. It had to be her, he was talking about. "You're Chris's mystery woman aren't you? Why didn't you tell me?!," she asked curiously. "Well, I wasn't sure how you were going to react to the news. With your purpose of being there and me, being your friend and knowing the whole situation, I was apprehensive to say anything. I know you must be wonder when did all this start huh? Well, I was trying to contact you, but you changed your number and I couldn't reach you so I searched everywhere for Justin's number. I called it and thought it would have been Justin, but it was Chris instead. I have no clue what possessed me to keep talking to him when I was looking for you, but we talked and talked and we just clicked. How that happen, I don't even know. He so cute and funny! As of right now, I'm not his girlfriend, but we're somewhere there," she explained. "I'm very happy for you and Chris girl! Why would I be mad? You deserve all the happiness you can get," gushed Diamond. "Thanks. It means a lot coming from you. So, how is everything over there?" Diamond let out a groan and that concerned Giovanna. Diamond explained about the appearance of Kara and what had happen a few minutes before. "What? She slapped you! She had no right to do such a thing. You were warning her about Jamie's way and that what you get?! She surely is dumber than she looks. If I was there, I would have gone ghetto with it. I would have beaten the shit out of that little girl. Argh! Thinking about it makes me so mad!," she screamed. "Damn, calm down. I was angry and could have gone ghetto on her ass, but we are in public and in front of people I don't trust. I just thank god that the guys and anyone from the camp weren't in that specific room. Don't worry about Kara, I'll handle her. Look, I have to get going, so tell Tia that I'll call later tonight to check up on my sugar and feed her nosey behind with everything she wants," laughed Diamond. "Alright, I will. Tell the boys I said hi," she laughed," Take care of yourself, ok? I mean it." she ended with a serious tone. "I will. I promise. bye," she announced, hanging up after Giovanna ended. Closing Chris's cell, she closed her eyes and took a deep breath and look towards the door of the studio. Here we go. Back Home Chapter 18 |
