| The moment Diamond woke up, she was confronted by Justin and the rest who waited anxiously for her to awake. Johnny in extra percussion decided that it would be best if she went back to the hotel. Deciding to just go and not argue with him about the situation, she left for the hotel. She couldn't believe her eyes when she saw Kara there. She should have known that Jamie would set up such a thing because she wasn't any use to him. No gossip had been spilled to him and she liked it that way. There was only 4 1/2 more months into the tour and all she wanted was for it to go by and she could get on with her life without Jamie hounding her, but Kara was going to change that plan. Diamond sat on the comfortable couch of the hotel bedroom as she patiently waited for Justin. She had spent the whole day watching television and eating fatty foods she shouldn't have been eating. About every 2 hours, she would be checked on by one of the guys calling. They were very worried about her fainting show, especially Justin, who called her the most that day and set up a get together with her that night in his room. She was very excited because she had missed Justin the whole day and wanted some privacy with him, knowing Kara would be snooping her out. Her two way pager went off, knocking her out of her thoughts to see that Justin was now in his room. She must have been so consumed in her thoughts to not have heard their usual commotion. Picking up her cell incase of a call, she slipped on her flip flops and walked towards the elevator; Justin and the guys were one floor above her level which was the penthouse. Arriving on the 77 floor, she walked right into the room without knocking. He has purposely left the door slightly ajar for her. The first section she entered in was like the dinning slash living area which was beautifully decorated in off white and brown. Walking past it, she knocked on the room door that she supposed was Justin's room. There layed Justin's slender body sound asleep, when she entered the room. The sight before her sent a smile to her face. It was quite amusing that he had not long ago paged her and then feel asleep in such a short time. Removing her flip flops, she got comfortable next to Justin, who had his back turned towards her. The shift on the bed caused him open his sleepy eyes. "Hey baby," he spoke, causing Diamond to jump slightly. Playfully, she hit him in the arm while he laughed. "Why'd you scare me like that? Did I wake you? Sorry, If I did. You need the sleep so just pretend I'm not here," she asked in concern. Placing his index finger upon her lips to shush her, knowing that she'll keep on talking before he could answer. "No and yes. I wasn't quite in deep sleep so the shift woke me up. I don't care at all because I wanted you here with me. I was very worried about you, all the guys, Johnny, and Gina were as well." The mentioning of Gina made her stomach drop. She didn't want to think about her and what trouble she was going to cause. "Sorry. I didn't mean to scare you'll like that. I don't know what came over me," she lied, Justin was looking her straight in the eyes and something told him she was lying, but he wanted to give her the benefit of doubt. Justin picked up her left hand and caressed the right side of her face, before saying anything. "That's alright. Maybe you didn't eat enough this morning," he suggested," I paged you here for another reason too. I know you're going to start freaking out, but it will be great." There was a pause in the end of his sentence as she patiently waited for the rest. "Momma is coming on the tour for a week, so this will be your chance to meet her." Immediately her face went from excitement to pure fright, Justin picked up on it quickly. "Mish, don't be scared. I've talked about you so much and she can't wait to meet the girl whose got me all twisted." Raising her eyebrow at his last words, she replied back. "Twisted? I didn't know I had you that way, but I'm still scared. Meeting a guys mother is the most scariest things to me. I've never had the best of luck with guy's mothers, especially you know who. That woman hated me like the damn plaque and worse when she found out I was pregnant. Oh god, does she know I have a child J? She must think I'm a slut or something," she rambled, Justin cut her off. "Listen to me. Don't worry. Momma will love you, ok? Yes, she knows about the baby and your situation. Her first reaction was shock, but she is not going to judge you by that. Her opinion on you has not changed since she's known and I believe it won't when she meets you," trying to comfort her. "Ok. I'm going to try and not think about the negatives and only think of the positives." "Good girl," he laughed," I'm done with the conversation, is there anything else you would like to say or talk about?" Shaking her head, she replied." Let's just go to sleep. I can see it in your eyes that you're tired and I am also. I'll see you in the morning." Kissing him on the lips, she started to get off the bed, but Justin stopped her. "Missy, where do you think you're going? I want you to stay here with me tonight. Don't say anything. Please, just for one night. Can't I have my girl sleep in the same room and bed with me?" Falling for his little speech, she slid back next to him underneath the covers and got comfortable in his arms. Within, a few minutes, she fell asleep while Justin was still awake watching her. He felt good having her body next to him. It was like she was his perfect fit. Besides his mother, he had never met any woman who compared to her and here she was sleeping in his arms. One thing he knew for sure was that he was in love with Michelle and he wanted her to know, but decided it was probably too soon for her. He didn't want to scare her or get deeply hurt if she didn't say it back. Looking at the clock beside his bed that read, 2 am, he closed his weary eyes as darkness enfolded. Back Home Chapter 17 |
