| It had been two weeks since the kiss incident at the hospital and Justin felt torn with his feelings. He shouldn't have been debating anything because he had girlfriend. With all the drama that's been going on, he's been on the edge lately and Lynn was starting to become worried about him. She could just tell when he walked out of the hospital room; Justin's love for Amelia had resurfaced. She could be the mother that told him to forget about it because he has Channel, but in all honesty, she would rather have her gone and Amelia back. Channel was down right a cheating, deceiving, and cold hearted person she had ever met and couldn't believe her son fell for her lies. Knocking very softly on bedroom door of Amelia's home, a faint reply followed shortly after. Walking in to the beautifully decorated room, Lynn found Justin lying down on his back staring at the ceiling. Taking a close seat next to Justin, she caressed her hands against his cheek, he turned his head slightly to face her. "Sweetie, are you ok?," asked Lynn. A small sigh escaped Justin lips in defeat. Knowing full well once his mother asked that question; he would soon spill his guts to her. "No. I have a lot of things running through my mind and I'm trying to figure things out, but I can't," softly he spoke, almost in a whisper. "Things? Would theses things deal with Amelia and Channel?," she questioned. "Yeah. I don't understand the feelings that I've been having. Amelia, she was the one woman where I can definitely say that I truly loved and wanted to be with forever. Then she left and I tried to move on. I found Channel, she may not be Amelia or even close to Amelia, but I can't explain what intrigued me to be with her. Now, Amelia has just come back into my life and I don't know how to deal with it. Feelings for her have come back and I do and don't want it. You get what I'm saying?," he rambled. "Yes, I get it. If I were in your shoes, I would probably be the same way. I think your feelings for Amelia has re-surfaced because she possibly is the one for you. Honey, I'm going to be very blunt with you and tell you straight out. I believe that your love never left or subsided for Amelia. Channel so happen to be there for you and take advantage of your broken heart. You're in a state where you think she doing good for you, but she's not. In a way, she's sort of a rebound. You're battling between something that is real and fantasy," she openly stated. Justin stayed quiet for a few minutes, trying to digest what Lynn had said. This was one of the many things he liked about his mother, her bluntness when it came to serious matters. She would never say anything false or try to cover up things for him. She helped him learn from his mistakes by being the way that she is. "My love for her never did die. Everyday I thought about her, where she was, and if she was in a safe place. I guess Channel just became a way for me to push aside the pain instead of facing it. A few days before Amelia coming back, I sort of did have a discussion with myself on why I'm still with Channel and when she first saw Jisela and said some not so nice words, I started to think more about us," he said, looking into his mother's eyes. "Now was that so hard? You seemed to have admitted what you felt. Now all you have to do now is take action on it," she said. "No mama. I know what to do know and I'm going to do it right," he stated confidently. "Good, but I have one more question? What happened on the first day of visiting Amelia? You looked so lost and confused," she asked. Before Justin could reply to his mother, Jisela cries were heard from Jisela's bedroom. Smiling, Lynn planted a soft kiss on her son cheek, gave him a 'We'll talk about this later' look, and left the room. When the door was completely shut, Justin let out another sigh. Rubbing his eyes, he felt the pangs of sleep and rolled over on his side. Fixing the pillows slightly, his eyelids dropped and soon it was filled with darkness. Back Home Chapter 14 |
