History, Destruction to Today

The church lasted for many years, until it eventually "fell from the [church] circuit"(Origins 67)⁶. All of the years of service and worship was gone. With the church being destroyed after its eventual neglect, the church disbanded, and the Methodists migrated or made new churches surrounding present-day Center Township (there is a Methodist Episcopal church in Monaca, PA). Now all that remains of this historically rich sight is the cemetery, containing some original devoted members of the church...^{2 & 6}
