| Hi all! It's been a long time since I've updated this, I know, but lots of things have been happenning and now I'm doing a final update before I leave for Groningen. For those of you who haven't caught up with me recently, the university exchange I have been trying to organise for a year and a half is finally coming together. I'm leaving for Groningen on the 3rd of August - flying via New York to visit John, and then on to Amsterdam. I'm hoping to squeeze in a trip to Finland to visit Sanna while I'm over there and of course have a look round Europe and the UK. I'm back in Whangarei for a few weeks since first semester ended. It's nice to be home with my family... the cat... and the fire! ; ) I had to resign my job at Whitcoulls, however they won't mind, they would have made a good profit out of my book buying spree in the last few weeks before I left! At the moment I'm trying to put up some pages about Groningen to show everyone where I'm going, and I'm hoping I'll have internet access over there so that I can put up some photos etc. I will still have access to my email addresses (except clearnet) while I am over there, so there's no excuse for not dropping me a line! : p And of course, if you happen to be passing through Europe anytime before Christmas, let me know, we can pop over to Paris for lunch! ; ) |
