BENEFICIARIES

The main clientele of KAMINKAP are the multi-cultural communities that inhabit Mindanao (Majority Settler sector, Bangsa Moro sector, and Indigenous People sector) in as much as they are the primary beneficiaries of the thrusts of the main programs and sub programs of the organization. These include persons, institutions and communities affected by armed conflict, involved in intercultural antipathy and discrimination-based violence, engaged in interfaith prejudice, connected in structural abuse and violence, and all those who are or have been exposed to other forms of social injustice.

The secondary clientele of KAMINKAP is the youth sector of Mindanao, or the children of the multi-cultural communities inhabiting Mindanao who are affected by the present peace situation, in as much as they are the intended beneficiaries of the information and awareness, education, and empowerment projects of the organization. These include student leaders, community youth leaders, youth achievers, grassroots youth, out-of-school-youth, and young professionals. The goal is to create a critical mass from a capacitated and empowered youth sector in Mindanao, thereby making it a potent and influential force – in partnership with local government, private agencies and non-government agencies – in the aspiration of attaining genuine and lasting peace, justice and development through social transformation for the peoples and communities in Mindanao.
