Zelgadis Greywards - Zelgadis is a strong scorceror and ground warrior. Today's lesson: Jury duty really sucks -- even if you're getting paid and skipping classes -- because some people are incredible fucking morons when it comes to logic, common sense, and attempting to use your "wit" to escape sitting on a trial.

Heh. You can tell I had an experience this morning...

At least the trial was resolved before the final jurer selection process was completed. Guess one side or the other thought all those people who spoke up really couldn't decide the case in their favor (much less on decide on a reason why they shouldn't participate.) I'm dreading the last few trials and hoping that shit doesn't happen again.

Anyway, now that I've gotten that out of my system, I would generally have taken the time to move onward here -- however, I don't really feel like extrapolating on much of my evening. I worked for 6 hours (boring, 'cept that I got to watch "Monsters, Inc." and "Emperor's New Groove" repeatedly on 8 TVs... one with a 600 total watt surround sound system), and then came home and had an hour long prayer/chat session with my family. You ever just sit down and talk about nothing with your family for an hour? We do, occasionally. And it's great. We covered such topics like family; the sum number of kids that my sister, brothers, and I will collectively have by the time we're old and married; how my brother thought an old female acquaintance of his was "really hot" after seeing her again after about 6 years, and him getting excited about trading emails with her; my sister bemoaning about the fact that her old "future husband" that she hadn't seen in years (you know, the one who moves away after you decide that "he'll eventually be mine") has a girlfriend; my youngest brother bragging about his m4d guitar skillz; my describing my possible exchange to Japan for a year; and just more of the same. I love chatty conversations.

And then, after piddling online for a bit, I've decided to update this blog with the above and some weird stuff that Ling found online. Honestly, I DON'T know where she finds this stuff...

Today's lesson: The human head cannot turn... oh wait, wrong notebook.

Been a while. Over a month. If you'll note, I didn't even update that month, mostly 'cause I didn't really have a whole lot that needed to be said. The only reason I'm updating now is because, for some bizarre reason, I started getting MP3 requests. In the three years this page has existed, I've been asked for MP3s like once. Then about a month ago, I started getting more. Very odd. And since I have no space for such uploads, I'm gonna have to kill the page. No biggie.

Oh, and for those of you who might care and come back periodically, a friend of mine and I are trying to start up a webcomic. It'll be a little while before we post anything (I wanna get a decent head start, first), but we do have a promo pic and the first strip completed, and so far, we've gotten good feedback. *^-^* Once my friend gets something established online for the comic, I'll add a link.

Well, that's about it. Really. Nothing more to talk about, since I'm tired and have this god-awful headache.
