KEI is a multi-faceted Engineering firm that provides quality Planning, Engineering, Surveying and Construction Management Services from conception to completion.

As Your Engineering consultant, we incorporate the most advanced methods of Engineering to provide maximum economy and efficiency in design as well as construction.Our major expertise is in Transportation related projects such as: highways, mass transit, airports, structured, bridges and various associated disciplines.

We have both experienced personnel and capabilities in CADD.Over the last few years, we have successfully worked with IDOT for various specialized consulting engineering services both as a prime consultant and as a sub consultant. We have worked with IDOT Districts 1, 2, 3 and 5 as a “Sub” and IDOT Districts 1 and 2 as a “Prime” on many projects.

We have provided consulting services both as a prime and as a sub consultant, to several other public agencies in Illinois such as:

• Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRD) on the Deep Tunnel Project (TARP – Calumet Tunnel)
• Capital Development Board (CDB) on the Elgin Mental Health Center Project
• Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) on the West Line project. Lake County Forest Preserve District for the DesPlaines River Bike Path Project and Cook County Forest Preserve District for their various shelters, parking lots, bike paths and other projects
• Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT) on the Pulaski Road
• Michigan Avenue projects METRA on their various suburban railroads and train stations, etc

Additionally, we have successfully worked with the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) on the Davison Freeway project and have also been selected by MDOT to provide design services to perform minor design projects (roadways and bridges).
