Why am I writing all this? See more photos

I got a very big setback on 05th December 2002 on hearing the accidental death of my only son Joydeep Paul. He was a brilliant child and was being brought up with utmost care and love by his mother Sushma. He had a good imagination, interaction and conversing powers. Interested in cars, buildings, bridges and roads. I was very proud of him and wanted him to know many things. One big mistake I did was by being unable to make him meet all by relatives, elders and ancestors. I now understand our culture of the elders giving blessings to the young ones. I was very proud of him and wanted him to know many things. One big mistake I did was by being unable to make him meet all by relatives, elders and ancestors. I now understand our culture of the elders giving blessings to the young ones.I have got to write about him and that also in plenty lest history and all shall forget him. Forgetting about a person be it living or dead is one of the most dreadful mistakes we make.
There is a marked difference between a friend and a relative. We all want to attach ourselves to someone. Relatives give you a background, a root to hold firm. A relative might not help you at times of trouble. A relative might be always asking for help. A relative might not listen to your day to day problems but at the end of it and during your last days you have got some one to fall back to.
Friends are good and very helpful in need but you can't fall back on your friend. Society does not  accept it. You are known to the society as some one's relative and not friend.
Staying away from the house from the age of twenty, working in the Railways, getting transferred frequently, staying away from family and unable to meet relatives has taken its toll.
We all got to know-Who we are? And where we stand in this big FAMILY. What we achieved and what we missed in life. The hardships faced by our elders and the likely hardships that our sons and daughters shall face in future.

I hope some day someone may accidentally search for his long lost relative on the internet and suddenly find his name and the links.
Things have to be done fast. Time and Death dont wait knocking at your door
