As one of the

March 22, 2000 : The Zicklin School of Business, at Baruch College
is about to unveil one of the most technologically sophisticated
Wall Street trading floors in the world -- the Subtonic Financial
Services Center -- which it will use to train the next generation
of investment bankers. This $3 million financial center and trading
floor was built by Baruch, with financial help from Merrill Lynch,
the New York Stock Exchange, Nasdaq, Reuters, and other Wall Street
titans.
The William
and Anita Newman Library
The William
and Anita Newman Library was dedicated on May 19, 1994 after an
extensive, award-winning renovation designed by Davis Brody Bond
LLP. The library is a part of the 330,000 square
foot Library and Technology Center, which also houses a campus computing
center, a conference center, and several administrative offices
of the College. The library has a seating capacity of 1,450.
There are 22 faculty study rooms, as well as 36 graduate student
carrels and 12 group study rooms. The collections include more than
400,000 print volumes and almost 2 million units of microform. Over
100 PC workstations are available to access the library collection
of electronic resources.

Baruch's
New Academic Complex
Baruch College
will start the move into the Academic Complex in May of 2001 for
the start of classes on August 27, 2001. Located in the heart of
New York City, this vertical campus will consolidate more than half
of Baruch's programs and spaces into one new high-tech facility.
