1999 DC Area Cavy Lover's Pignic

The 1st Annual DC Cavy Lover's Pignic was held on 9/26/99 at Turkey Run Park. Here are directions and the specifics from the 1999 event.

We had a very good turn out. There were between 35 and 45 people in attendance and tons of snuggly pigs. There were pigs available for adoption (some of which might be going to new homes soon) and various cavy items for sale.

I got some extra special snuggles from Rupert - The Teddy, Twix - The Sugar Pig, and John Henry - The Mountain Pig. I can't wait to do it again! (Maybe we will have to have a Christmas or New Year's Pig Party....)
