WHAT: ��1st Annual DC Area Cavy Lover's Pignic

WHEN:� �Sunday, September 26, 1999

��������� ������������� ����1pm-5pm(ish)

WHERE: Turkey Run Park, VA

WHY:����� 'Cuz we love these darned critters

RAIN:����� If it rains, we will postpone to the next Sunday (10/3)

��������� ������������� �����Same Pig Time, Same Pig Park

OTHER:� There will be cavies available for adoption and there

WHAT TO BRING

o� Yourself

o� Your friends and family

o� A pig or two (optional)

o� Pen for your pigs

o� Pignic for your pigs

o� Picnic for you and your guests

o� Picnic Blanket (Lawn chairs recommended)

����������� There are only two picnic tables at the site

o� Treats to share (optional)

o� Pigtures and items to show off (optional)

o� Piggies available for adoption (optional)

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

From GW Parkway

Heading South:

����������� Take Turkey Run Park Exit (This will be the first exit)

����������� Go to Picnic Area B

����������� We will be in the wooded area behind the bathrooms

Heading North:

����������� Pass Spout Run Exit

����������� Pass Chain Bridge Exit

����������� Pass CIA / Langley Exit

����������� Take Turkey Run Park Exit

����������� Go to Picnic Area B

����������� We will be in the wooded area behind the bathrooms

From I-95 (VA) & 395

Head northbound on I-95 and then on 395 toward Washington DC

Take left exit 11 onto the GW Parkway going north

Keep Right and follow the signs toward Spout Run

Pass Spout Run Exit

Pass Chain Bridge Exit

Pass CIA / Langley Exit

Take Turkey Run Park Exit

Go to Picnic Area B

We will be in the wooded area behind the bathrooms

From 66 (VA)

�

Take 66 Eastbound to the Roslyn & Key Bridge Exit

Turn Left just before you have to go across the Key Bridge

This will put you on the GW Parkway going north

Pass Spout Run Exit

Pass Chain Bridge Exit

Pass CIA / Langley Exit

Take Turkey Run Park Exit

Go to Picnic Area B

We will be in the wooded area behind the bathrooms

From Baltimore & I-95 (MD)

�

Take I-95 south to 495

Take 495 toward Northern Virginia

Take GW Parkway exit (Just past the American Legion Bridge)

Take Turkey Run Park Exit (This will be the first exit)

Go to Picnic Area B

We will be in the wooded area behind the bathrooms

From 495

Take 495 toward the top of the Beltway

Take GW Parkway exit (Next to the American Legion Bridge)

Take Turkey Run Park Exit (This will be the first exit)

Go to Picnic Area B
