MINI-BAJA 2000
Ending the long, strange trip with one last adventure

Sat. June 3, 2000. A little bit of downtime.
Hey Quinn, why don't you come out and
spend some time in the sun?
 The vehicle.

Static judging. We did fairly well in this event. Bowlby puts the car through the
maneuverability test.
We did pretty well here, too: 0 cones after
both runs. Good job, Greg.

Joe doing the acceleration, top speed,
and braking tests. Or rather, that's what would
be pictured here if Fred would get off his
butt and get the pictures to the rest of us...
1/10 of a second in the acceleration test made
the difference between an average braking trial and
what would have been one of the top ones.
Fred doing the skid pull.
We got a whopping .3 feet out of this one
before we decided to cut our losses.
As it was, we ended up spending the rest of the
day fixing some bent shafts after this one.
Good thing we're smart and saved this for
our last event of the day.
