| With the speculation that there will be a roster split, Al Powers and associates created another set of tag team belts to be exclusive to Extreme Zone. A double elimination tag team battle royal was held to crown the new champions. The last two in the ring were Vulcan, who had teamed with Black Jack and Red Crush, who teamed with The Billion Dollar Man. Vulcan looked to have the match won, until he was decimated outside of the ring by Tommy Polo and made for easy pickings for Red Crush to throw him over the top rope. Many battles, including the "infamous chokeslam from the balcony" incident have taken place for the titles. Many great teams have held the titles including, Brimstone and Raven, Tommy Polo and Batista, and Vegito and Chronic to name a few from the short list.. |
