The Action Zone Championship originated in Winter Sanderson's now defunct WWA and The Executioner's WCWF.  In the WWA, the belt was the WWA World Heavyweight Championship and in WCWF, the title was the Hardcore Championship.  Once WCWF closed it's doors permenantly and Al Powers struck a deal with WWA, the two belts were combined into what is now known as the Action Zone Championship.  Hagar Hart held the WCWF Hardcore Championship until he committed suicide and Vegito held the WWA Championship, but when JWA:EWA ceased operation for some time then reopened, Vegito was the sole championship holder from WWA.  Through the years, the Action Zone Championship went through several name changes, including Undisputed and Action Zone World Championship.  Due to poor show management and lack of quality contenders, Al Powers labeled the title it's current name.  Maybe with some realigning, the title can gain a more respectable name.
