Day 15: 11/10/00 ==>Drive to San Francisco and visit of San Francisco.

We drove to San Francisco along long and winding roads.  We stopped at a large lake and after that we drove straight to San Fran.  We arrived at famous Golden Gate Bridge where James let us out so we could walk accross the bridge.  After a nice stroll James picked us up at the other side and then we drove to our hotel.  We arrived at the hotel around 3 pm, so we hadn't much time left if we wanted to see the rest of San Fran today.  We checked in and decided since it was our last night together that we would meet back here around 6 pm to go to dinner.

I decided to walk to Fisherman's Warf.  I walked first to Union Square and from that point on I walked all the way through Chinatown towards the ocean.  Since I hadn't enough time to visit Alcatraz, I just went to the souvenirshop and pick up a baseballcap and a keychain.  After that I walked to a submarine who was displayed at the other end of the pier.  On the way I didn't see any of the famous sea lions.  After spending some time reading about and admiring the sub I decided to go back to the hotel.  I took a completely other route back.  I walked up and down the hills in Nob Hill, past some of the most prestigious hotels(Hyatt, ...), and I stumbled upon the most crooked street in the world.  After taking a nice picture of this strange street I saw that time was running short so I started to pick up my pace a bit.
