| We hiked down the platform and down the U-turns, we stopped to drink and eat something at the sandy part of the trail. But then we went further down. We decided to go down the same way we came up the trail because we were already quite tired and we wanted to get to our tents as soon as possible. We could have taken the other way down, like the others did, but that way it would take us much longer to get down. We didn't stop until we reached the bottom fall and the stone steps. Our knees were hurting quite a bit so we decided to sit down for a while and rest, before going down on those very hard stone steps. After 10 minutes or so we climbed down the stone steps and we reached our tents just a little bit after 3.00 pm. We had now hiked for more than 8 hours, we were all glad that it was over, but we wouldn't want to miss it for anything. After just sitting around camp and telling our experience to the ones who stayed behind, we decided it was time to get a nice refreshing shower. We all went together and after the shower we also got some nice warm drinks. When we went back to the camp the others had made it back save and sound. We also played a bit of frisbee around the camp. It was the idea to take as much obstacles as possible to reach your target. We even used the van and our tents to bounce off the frisbee!!! I never knew frisbeeing could be so entertaining and tiring at the same time. |
