This is a tribute to what was, what used to be, and what still should be. Georgia Southern Men's Swimming and Diving was cut at the end of the 1999 school term. We fought hard to keep it, but ultimately lost. It really makes me sick. I could have transferred, but I stayed at GSU because it really is a good school. A good school with a big fat loser in charge of it's athletic department. There, I said it..but hey, it's true. I dedicate this page to those hurt by the cutting of our teams. It was truly senseless. Title 9, which is equality for women, I'm sure...was never meant to take away from men. GSU doesn't know what a fine team they lost, or how they ripped the swimming and diving program in half....
