If any of this stuff offends anyone, I apologize, but the heading of the page should make it pretty clear that
this is just my opinion. That said, this is me expressing it. You certainly don't have to agree, and if you *don't* agree, I'd be more than happy to exchange opinions, provided we can do so in a
mature manner. (Read as: Flames will be used to flambe marshmallows. This is my opinion. If you have a problem with it, either talk it out nicely, or keep it to yourself, because guess what? It's
your problem. Not mine!)

Pet Peeve #1: Wufei's Name
There is nothing that will make me leave a fic faster than seeing Wufei's name spelled Wu Fei. *Shudder* I mean, come on. Would you spell the name Mulan as Mu Lan? Just because the people that typed the sub for the Gundam DVDs didn't know how to spell a Chinese name doesn't mean you have to follow their example! (Note: It has been pointed out to me that I may be wrong on this point. It may be correct to spell Wufei as Wu Fei. Though, if you want to get literal, it shouldn't be capitolized at all, space or no space. After all, there's no such thing as a 'capitol' Kanji character!) (Another note: When I can dig through my email next and figure out who pointed this out to me, I'll post their name here to give them credit.)
Pet Peeve #2: Duo's Appetite
Just because he used to live on the streets doesn't mean he eats everything in sight, nor does it mean he eats fast. It is far more probable that he would ration his food strictly, to make it last as long as he could. It would also be likely that when he eats, he would do so slowly, so as to eat the smallest amount of food possible to make him feel full.
Pet Peeve #3: Relena
Okay, people, this one is a touchy subject. First of all, I personally despise with a
passion cannon Relena. She has all these fluffy-girly peace ideals, an obsession with a boy that tried to
kill her, and
the most annoying yell I have ever heard. If Heero had actually gotten around to killing her, I have no doubt that she would have won a
Darwin Award! However. Relena is also a good person. She believes firmly that all humans are equal, and by the time the series ends, she has a much better outlook on how peace should be. She would not hate Duo simply because he's a former street rat, a war orphan, etcetera. If you don't believe me, go read the Episode Zero manga!
