In AutoCAD 2000 I hate the middle button panning

Dear  Frustrated and Confused,

This is a good question becuase I hate that feature too. I spent some time finding the answer. I even stumped the teacher at my A2K class with the question (I already knew the answer, I'm such a stinker).

To fix the middle button set the eviroment variable "MBUTTONPAN"  to 0 (zero not O). This will restor the middle button to work just like it did in Rev 13 and Rev 14. The command is:

setvar MBUTTONPAN 0

Dear Jim,

I can not stand the middle mouse button being automatically set to pan in AutoCAD 2000. Is there any way I can change this button back to give me a POP 0 menu. I liked it the way it was in AutoCAD R13 and R14
