Respecting Differences

"A man can lead his horse to water, but he cannot force him to drink."

In virtuous action there is a noble and subtle reality.

Forgiveness frees us from evil and past offenses.

Compassion opens our eyes to life and each person's individuality.

Patience draws us closer to the true nature of things.

Kindness, in all its manifestations, gives us the wings of an angel.

However, no one can force virtuous action and the desire to do good.

Each must choose and see that with this choice comes freedom, dignity and grace.

I accept that all of us must find our own solutions, our own way of being in the world. Today, I respect differences.
