Welcome!

My name is June Byng.  I grew up on a beautiful island in the Caribbean called Tobago.  Actually, the formal name is Trinidad and Tobago (two islands under one government).  I have lived in the U.S. for almost 22 years. 

I have been a classroom teacher in the San Antonio Independent School District (SAISD) for almost 5 years.  I served two years as a 5th grade teacher and two years as a 6th grade teacher.  Currently, I am a 7th grade teacher.  All of these assignments have been in "self-contained" classrooms (all subjects taught).

Prior to becoming a classroom teacher, I worked as a Flight Attendant for American Airlines (AA) for 6 years.  My duties included both domestic and international travels.  In the "Interest" section of this website, I have provided links to various countries I visited while at AA.
