Episode 5.  Introducing Salty, the "Doer"

Well, here we are around the bed, there's Kelly and there's Gunn
and a fellow they call Salty*
who says he'll get things done

He represents the common folk and says we're on a winner
he says, forget your cooking
they can all go out for dinner!

Then Salty spoke up loud and clear, it's time to cut the cackle
No longer will we tolerate
two thousand year's debacle

There is a Grid all over Earth that's evenly connected
The Five's decided long ago
It must not be detected

It was because such power lay within this Grail or Grid
that from the salties of this Earth
its purpose must be hid

He laughed and said, To hide the truth, they'd always doublespeak
to subjugate the hoi polloi,
the strong. the mild, the meek

How easy for the Five Percent to keep the people dumb
by making sure that everyone
marched to a different drum

The sad fact is that mankind has been vilified and mocked
It's done through the economy
and Rules the Fives concoct

The scientists were gullible, they had no glimpse or insight
they called connectors `superstrings'
instead of mankind's birthright

Connectors formed a pattern that would aid communication
from man to man, from group to group,
from nation unto nation

To bring about a peaceful world, we must communicate
it's always been and ever will
the way to offset fate.

Now Bucky here will tell you that the Fives have lost the plot
they think they are so 'clever' but
intelligent, they're NOT

They've pilfered and they've plundered in an autocratic way
and always sought to be the kings
of all that they survey

We're at the limit, Bucky said, There's not much left to spoil
It takes the planet eons
to process one pint of oil!

Our water is fast drying up through building dams and drought
but 'Old Man River Cities'
can bring 'good news' about

There's no cooling and no heating in this City of the free
No antiquated pumps and pipes
polluting land and sea

No need to slave one's lights out but live life like a King
with time for recreation
and 'doing your own thing'

Each City built would represent mankind's ability
to prove that every one on Earth
can live in luxury

No misappropriation of air, of land, of sea,
just your imagination
and creativity

For those prepared to find out how 'to do the best with less'
there'll be remuneration
and feelings of success

Earth's refugees will have no need for begging or for pity
They'll live the life of Riley
in a Bucky Fuller City.

When everyone has shelter and all have bread and jam
that's the way the Lion
will lay down with the lamb

Said ET, while you're learning the way that you should live
Here's a man called Milerum
who'll teach you how to give

` tis better far' said Milerum 'to give than to receive'
is a well known saying that
you'd better not believe!

For that's the trick that's used by Fives to have you on a plate
The only way to fairly give
is called RECIPROCATE

So if you don't want charity then change your way of living
make sure that in the future
you can take what you have given

Preferring independence, you should look for a solution
The method's called Insurance
and you make a contribution

Insurance covers everything from health to habitation
In sickness or emergency
it will be your salvation

But be aware that as you age and when your mind goes funny
The one insurance you will need
will not depend on money

The best insurance you can have need never cost a dime
The secret of the 'good life' is
It's What You Do With Time!

For time is of the Essence. It's value is untold
Nothing can compare with time
It's worth its weight in gold

Make sure that when you spend it, you get the very best
For discounts sales and bargains
should come at your behest

A clamour came from all around, You'll have to be specific
Said Salty to Ned Kelly
it's almost scientific!

Oh No, I said, It's on again. Not what I want to hear
I'll go back to my cooking
if you don't make it clear

Lou's right, said Ned, it's time you all quit beating round the bush
stand your ground right here and now
or I'll give you a push

Then Milerum began to laugh, It's really very simple
All you have to do is grow
a pumpkin on a pimple!

That's it, I said, I've had enough, I'm going back to bed
But Salty mused, I think I know
what goes on in his head

A pumpkin grows from just one seed, on earth it has relied
and many, many pumpkins come
and spread their tendrils wide

That is what our Ned meant; the Net, the Grail, the Me
it's only like a pumpkin seed
spread to eternity

Yes, that's right, said Milerum, you needn't go to college
the thing the Five Percent most fear
is People Power and Knowledge

Not the knowledge taught in school or University
and not by some professional
then dished out for a fee!

Not the power Five's employ to hold on one another
It's the Power and Glory of
knowing man's your brother

Knowledge of the Grid or Grail will show you how you can
welcome every child into
the brotherhood of man

Service is the only means man has to right the wrong
and power comes when each and all
find out where they belong
