Welcome to the new online home of the Andrea Gilles Memorial Equestrian Center - Home of the Rainbow Riders!

Rainbow Riders was founded in St. John's, Newfoundland in 1990. It is affiliated with the Canadian Therapeutic Riding Association (Can TRA) which is a member of Riding for the Disabled International. The Rainbow Riders Therapeutic Riding Centre is located on Mount Scio Road in Pippy Park. There are 13 well trained horses and Newfoundland ponies, an indoor riding arena, an outdoor exercise paddock, several fields and some beautiful trails. Through this program approximately 300 children and adults with disabilities have reaped the benefits of exercise and social interaction through the enjoyable activity of horseback riding.
