TRUJILLO / CHICLAYO

Day 1    CHAN CHAN
You will visit the famous ruins of "Chan Chan" which is located 44 km. from Trujillo city. This is made basically of mud, and has nine palaces. This is also a place where used to live people from the culture Chimu. It is considered the biggest city of mud in the world, and stated by Unesco as cultural inheritance of humanity.

Day 2    CITY TOUR
In this city tour you can visit the cathedral, the complex "EL BRUJO", the temple of "ARCO IRIS", and the principal churches and museums of Trujillo.

Day 3    PYRAMIDS OF THE SUN AND THE MOON
In this Tour you can visit "Las Huacas del Sol y la Luna", which are impressive piramidal constructions made of adobe (Sun-dried bricks) of the year 200 a.c. It is also placed 4km. from Trujillo. They are 45mts. high, and they're like a viewpoint of Moche Valley.

Day 4    BUS TRUJILLO / CHICLAYO

Day 5
BRUNNING MUSEUMS AND PYRAMIDS OF TUCUME
In the morning you will visit the archaeological museum of Brunning, as an introduction of the history of Lambayeque area and the replica of the tomb of "The Lord of Sipan". In the afternoon you will visit the archaeological complex of Tucume or valley of the pyramids (40km from Chiclayo).

Day 6   THE LORD OF SIPAN
You will do the excursion to the cemetery of "Huaca Rajada", which is a funeral center of Mochicas, where a lot of tombs have been discovered, including the great tomb of the "Lord of Sipan". then you can visit the city of Chiclayo, and the market of medicinal herbs.
