Both of these words, along with many other words in the Cherokee language contain root words leading back to the original Hebrew language.
These words point to spiritual significance in their style of worship in earlier times. Many of the original forms have been forgotten in time but there is hope for those with interest on this subject. I will try to bring to surface some of this lost information by quoting many observations by James Adair, an early explorer who documented well over 3000 pages concerning the Cherokee and other Native Americans during the 1700-1800's.
