| How To Dump Your Girlfriend Julian co-wrote this tongue in cheek book about ending a relationship.He also did live readings across the country at literature and comedy festivals. He was also able to secure interviews with TV and radio stations and with newspapers. (the book is still available in online stores) "A Hassle Free way to lose your lover" - New Nation Compere Throughout 2008 Julian compered many different events, including gigs across the NorthWest for 'Superheroes of Slam Poetry', 'One World Day', 'City College Manchester's Got Talent', 'International Mother Language Day' and 'Poetry Factor' at Xaverian college amongst other things. "The 'super glue' that held the evening together" - Lelo, Co-ordinator of CCM's Got Talent BBC Radio Manchester Julian is a regular on the Sam Walker show. He chats about the bizarre news stories of the day, in an amusing way. Stand Up Comedian/Comic Poet In Oct 08, Julian did a one man show. 'An Idiots Guide to Comedy' which is a humorous look back at his career so far, using funny anecdotes, poems and visual aids. (he's currently developing this show) Julian also performed his funny poems at the Southbank Centre, London, the Royal Exchange, Manchester, as the special guest performer at York Libraries Staff Conference and as part of Salford's Healthy Mind, Healthy Body programme. "I would recommend a performance by Julian to anyone" Sarah Coyne, Reader Development Officer, Salford Libraries Talks and Poetry Workshops Julian spoke about his experiences as a writer and performer in colleges and Barton Moss Secure Unit. He also facilitated poetry workshops in schools and Thorn Cross Young Offenders Institute. "An Excellent session. Learners were totally engaged and greatly encouraged" Library Staff, Thorn Cross YOI Marvin and Julian Marvin Cheeseman and Julian did a few performances in 08, including Literature Festival, WordFest,[see pic](pic by Jim Gallagher).
